Jobcentre staff privilege day

Hi all,
Have a quick query regarding the privilege day for DWP staff working in jobcentres... Is this used for a specific date for is this a case of use it as and when? TIA :smile:

Its for all civil servants and we used to take it after the Queen’s birthday has passed. You can use it anytime of the year after that. But since we now have a King, I assume it will be after his birthday has passed. Your manager should be aware of this so you can speak to them about it.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I know that it’s a wider civil service thing, I wondered if specifically for job centre staff it was used for the day over Christmas period when job centres are closed as I know last year they closed for 3 days but there were only 2 bank holidays.
