Iterative development for NEA

I'm currently doing the iterative development and testing for my nea project. I started programming bits of it before i knew this was a thing so now i have 3 massive sections of code where i can't screenshot my progress and show my development.

I'm not half way through so from now on, i am screen shotting as I go along but for the code where i have nothing, do i try and reverse engineer it and by how much?
I was never a confident programmer so my iterative development may be like 30 pages long, is that bad and if so, should i delete some of it and just claim that i know how to code to some extent?

I don't know where to draw the line of writing to much stuff to the point where its useless. I'm looking at example projects and i think i may get nearly double amount if that puts things into perspective.
