Subject choice for university

Hi, wondering what direction I should chose for studying, I’m torn between an environmental science degree or a mechanical engineering degree. I’m wanting to know which would leave me the best of (money wise) and what would have more opportunities and what would have more enjoyability, thanks

I might be a bit biased as I applied for mechanical engineering but if it helps, I wanted to do mechanical engineering cause the amount of changes you can do with your imagination is limitless and you can make tons of money too for innovation. It can be a toughie tbh but the fulfilment of actually being able to complete a project is really satisfying and something I find enjoyable. You also get to use lots of equipments (3D printers and etc.) which is really cool. post-university, it's really uncertain employment but if your university has a lot of good connections then they can hook you right in but you still have to put int work and effort for both courses and it's up to you still.

Hope this helps
