I achieved GCSE’s 988888877. This gave me a score of 24/32, meaning to even reach 59.5 I would need a UCAT score over what is even stated on the website. Have I added this up wrong and are my GCSE’s strong enough for leicester medicine?

Hi! I got 2520 in my UCAT and a score of 25 for this. I got a score of 28/32 for my GCSEs making my total score 53/64. I applied this year and got invited to interview in January!

That was for last year's entry, when they score 8s and 9s the same. This year, they have changed the scoring and they get different points and the cut off seems to be much lower. The official one will be published towards the end of the cycle

Please could you tell if you got the offer? My DD has 52.5/64… will she be considered… also she has band 3😬

Do you know what the cut off is for this year with the new scoring? My daughter absolutely loved Leicester.

Cut off was 52.5 for 2024 entry. Nobody knows what it will be for this year, but I owuld have thought similar

Is the ucat average better than last year? I somehow think the gcse results for this cohort was okayish not too great… but I might be wrong… 😆

Thank you @GANFYD . I saw somewhere the cutoff was 57. I’m guessing that person was wrong? Please could you show me where you got your info from so I can share with my daughter? Thanks again x

Hello I am enquiring about my chances to apply for medicine at Leicester university. My total points for this year is 86 for the new system. Would I have a chance to get an interview offer as an international student? I really would like to enter this school but I'm unsure.
IGCSE: 8 9s 1 8 and 1 7
Alevel preds A*A*A* in Bio chem maths and I did EPQ but results yet to be announced.
