Low ucat

unfortunately today i done awful in my ucat :frown:

overall : 2270 & Band 2
does anyone know/is applying to universities that will take this?

ExeterInterview shortlisting occurs based on UCAT and academic score. Weighting is 75% academics and 25% UCAT.Average interviewed = 2599

Leicester- risk: Those who score highly in the UCAT will be invited to interview provided they meet the minimum entry requirements. Candidates who score lower in the UCAT will be considered on an individual basis, taking into account their whole UCAS application. This can include your academic performance at A-level and GCSE (or equivalent), personal statement and references. There is no strict cut-off score used by the medical school, making Leicester a great option if your application is strong, but your UCAT score is not as high as you would have liked. Lowest interviewed = 2270Average interviewed = 2640

Hello. I was dissapointed by my ucat score and was hoping for any advice on where to apply with a 2580, Band 2. I have 5 9's and 4 8's and A star in EPQ. Any help would be much appreciated. I would really love to go leicester but im just not sure anymore with the low ucat. If you dont mind me asking where did you apply and did you get any offers/interviews.

haha i'm here for the same thing and have v similar stats - what unis r u considering/think you have a good shot at? (i'm considering cardiff, liverpool, birmingham, exeter btw...)

Instead of waiting for an old post I suggest you post your details in the which med school megathread in the format asked for in the first post ie all GCSEs and UCAT breakdown etc as it is all necessary.
