overall i find the subject quite interesting and i like how you can apply it to current news, it is quite difficult so i recommend revisiting flashcards almost everyday, if you’re in year 12 i recommend making flashcards as you go along! hope this helps, if you any questions or concerns you can just message me

i do aqa econ, edexcel politics and aqa sociology, i recommend econ as a challenging subject, ngl it’s not going be as easy but it’s definitely doable and if you work hard you can definitely get an A*/A! all my subjects are content-heavy because they’re all essay based but i like writing so i knew that my subjects were going to have a lot of writing all in all i enjoy my subjects. But please also do more research if you’re considering econ or any other subject in general !!! hope this helps

Explain how you find econ the most difficultist and does politics have more content then sociology and is sociology easier to master bc I heard both are content heavy econ has bare confusing graphs apparently and also what were your gcses and exambaord then put grade next to it thanks and do you know anyone that does edexcel business and aqa sociology because wanna know which has more content and is easier

tbh it’s mostly the content, but once you get the hang of it you’ll be fine, not too sure about edexcel business may do some research m?

Some people think it’s content heavy, maybe it is but I think it’s a very concept -driven subject so in terms of content it feels like it’s less compared to my other subjects . The diagrams are fairly straightforward by the time you learn the content and rely on understanding of concepts . It’s an essay subject for sure but the essays are very different to traditional 20 markers in history, English , law, etc and I’d say easier personally . It’s a subject where you definitely benefit from actually liking more compared to some subjects where u can just grind without interest easily .
I like it enough as a subject for sure.

So econ is harder then soc and to understand and exam questions and structure and even tho more content heavy and yeah and to revise

In terms of graphs, as long as you understand the concepts they make sense and you don’t have to actually memorise them, or at least not that many.

For example, when I need to draw a demerit good externalities graph I understand that the social benefit is going to be less than the private benefit and so I make the lower demand curve the social benefit. That might not make sense right now but graphs are intuitive once you spend the time to properly understand the reasons behind them. There have been topics that I just correctly guessed the graphs for because you can work it out logically without memorising them. That being said you have to like economics to put up with this many graphs .
