is it possible to get into masters with a 2:1 and no research dissertation?
hi!
im a 3rd year student studying biomedical science.
im currently at a 2:1 and have decided to do a library project instead of a research dissertation as I felt it was more of my strong suit. however to make up for that loss, I did a research based module in second year (made our own mini research project, wrote reports, visited research labs) and in third year I also did a module that was lab based. of course I understand people with research dissertations as well as research internships or placements will be favoured more but is it almost impossible for me to be considered for a science masters or a research based science masters?
