Drama in Schools is a Waste of Time and Money
If you clicked on this thread that probably got your attention. It's a controversial statement, and not one I believe in, but I thought it would be worth to get people's thoughts on the matter. I'm writing an essay for my performing arts course about whether it is actually worth doing performing arts courses, and while there is plenty of information on why performing arts aren't a waste of time in schools, I've found little for the contrary opinion.
So, please feel free to give your thoughts on why drama in schools might be not be worth doing. In the essay I won't be using you username - I'll mostly be summarising the content of replies and maybe using one or two quotes.
