The best university's I've heard that are best for studying aerospace are Imperial (Russel group) and Hertfordshire (non Russel group) as for recommending studying aerospace engineering I would say if you have a passion for Aircraft and spacecraft plus maybe cars (motorsport/Formula 1) mostly and can wrap your head around complex physics and maths concepts I'd recommend it.
