Very green campus.Good staff and wins awards for good mental wellbeing amongst students.The town is a bit mid imo.

What is reading university like?

It's great to hear from you.

The University of Reading is a great environment for academic studies, and the students I have met are great. I am currently studying Ecology and Wildlife Conservation, and I have met a great range of people, including students, lecturers and guest speakers.

Overall, my favourite thing about the university is the facilities; there are 2 pubs, 5 + cafes, 7 restaurants, 1 huge 5-floor library, and so much more. It means between lectures, you always have somewhere to hang out with friends or study. Also, the student union has a great range of academic societies and sports clubs to join, which can be found on this webpage. These are a great way to decompress between studies.

The best way to learn more about the university is an open day; the next open day is on Friday and Saturday, the 14th and 15th of June 2024. More about the open days can be found here.
