******** bricks. There’s way too much content, and I’m struggling to juggle it with ethics revision too. I think I’ll be okay as long as we get asked at least 2 topics from year 2 though, and not any stupid niche questions, like something on karma like another year. It’s so difficult because there’s no official text book though!

So true man I wish our school didn’t pick it literally no resources. Doing ethics Buddhism and maths revision at the same time is killing me. What topics do u think can come up

I’ve got absolutely no clue. Been going through the spec for gaps and there are so many that I don’t feel as if I can say what could come up at all. I’m looking at Buddhism and Gender right now, and I’ve got no clue what sorts of questions you can get on it, the spec is so detailed and weird. Did you teacher give you any potential essay questions for Buddhism and Gender, because I’m stuck ☹️ xx

No my teacher hasn’t been helpful at all :frown:( I have a feeling gender and Buddhism can come up but agreed the spec is so weird.

does anyone have any advice/resources/scholars/help because I am so behind still learning content I literally cannot find any good resources especially for AO2? everything just seems to tell you what concepts are, but when it comes to if theyre helpful or useful or most important or however its phrased there is literally nothing

for AO2 I would suggest looking at the wording of the question and picking it apart e.g what does ‘important’ actually mean, applicable? relevant? useful to attain nibbana? I usually go through my notes and scrutinise these concepts and then compare to other areas of Buddhism, as in most essays you can bring in synoptic links especially using 1st year content. For example if the questions on Mahayana vs Theravada or the traditional teachings of the Buddha just compare the teachings etc…

i feel like buddhism is soooo hard to predict because there are loads of topics, but the three refuges have barely been asked, praying its not madhyamaka
