Good old nature, coming to our rescue again.
Just like how it stopped the tripods in the War of the Worlds.

i swear that said "teens growing faster due to global warming" for a second then

Keep demanding goods. Use up the oil. Use up the gas. Use up every unsustainable resource. Make green life return faster than ever to planet earth. The economy needs you now more then ever.

Demand more! Demand more! Help the planet by polluting now.

a loggers dream :p:. But surely at the rate the amazon and other rainforest ect are being cut down this will have no effect on enviromental issues? Just a thought...

unless the trees pop up i doubt they can grow as fast as we can cut them down.

until CO2 levels rise high enough so that the photosynthesis rate in trees increases enough for them to use the excess energy to finally drag those roots out of the ground and walk again like they did in middle earth!:eek3: They will fight back and destroy the loggers and then try and destroy the rest of us...until we dispatch them easily with explosive and agent orange.

you know what, I dont even believe global warming (if such a thing exists) is caused by humans.

" data collected from satellites positioned around the globe that indicates temperatures have dropped about 0.6C in the past year - back to 1980 levels."
http://www.prisonplanet.com/top-rocket-scientist-no-evidence-co2-causes-global-warming.html

and also look at this..
"global sea ice levels now equal those seen 29 years ago, "

ah yes, i read those myself, maybe you should read around a bit and discover why they never became publised journals...

Great, but the rate of growth won't keep increasing forever if CO2 levels keep increasing because the plants will reach their optimum rate of photosynthesis and won't be able to go any faster = no Ents for us. :frown:

I think I read somewhere that Earth is currently in some sort of orbit shift which will counteract the effects of global warming for the next 10 years. After that, however...

Why?

because the article is awfully basic and preys on people with less background knowledge

for example, he quotes an 800 year lag of co2 after warming. co2 lags for around that time for a short time while a small initial warming increases its level, then the co2 drives the temperature rise and there is no lag

and a hot pocket in the atmosphere? that assumes a homogeneous atmosphere that does not change due to factors other than co2, which is an interesting idea noone other than that guy has ever beleived - simply the hadley cells would destroy that.

csa ilumini search and NOC's library. his work hasa been heavily criticised - simple statements like scientists were driven to support global warming because of funding miffed quite a few people, and an interesting notion - impartial governments generally dont care what results your data gives as long as you produce it, its bps job to make sure the data suits them :p: and i think that author is heavily connected with one of the oil companies as it is :woo: :eek3:

Trees growing faster is not necessarily a good thing, as they take in less Carbon Dioxide as a result.
