Help me please!!! :(

Not too sure where I should post this but I really need help!

I'm studying Hitler for one of my exams in January but i'm stuck on this question, I'm looking at the significance of the years 1928-1933 so I was wondering, Why did Hitler not manage to win much support before 1928?

PLEASE! I need help :frown:
Because Germany was actually doing pretty well economically. But the wall street crash in 1929 led Germany into recession and hyperinflation. In extreme circumstances people often look to extreme leaders.

Sorry yeah it did. What I meant was Germany was recovering steadily economically but the wall street crash sent them into economic depression and mass unemployment.

It was before the Wall Street Crash of 1929, and before the depression kicked in. After the Wall Street Crash happened and the depression hit Germany pretty hard the people were more willing to vote for the populist and extreme National Socialists.
