Thanks, I'll delete posts that are discussing Edexcel French.

You might want to take a look at this thread too :holmes:

Why not? The exam board doesn't have any other paper to see how you would have performed thus predicted grades would be the best method

No they wouldn't be, they're not predicted by the exam board. As Aurorae said, coursework would be likely, but it would be unfair and frankly stupid on the part of the exam board to award predicted grades.

They would use it nevertheless,
Say for ICT coursework I got A*A* but that's because it's coursework and you can take your time etc,
Doesn't mean I'll achieve an A* in the exam though

I disagree with the use of coursework, but that's apparently (according to Aurorae) what happens.

I think that, while it's very unfortunate for all involved, it would be extremely unfair to other candidates and even the affected candidates (who may not receive a grade appropriate for their ability, whether it be higher or lower) for them to receive a grade without the exam.

O.o

That's similar to what I did, I got my tea and starting revising but I felt like the air was strangling me. It was thick and horrible!

Luckily my parents wake up at like 3 pm lol xD so no heater madness!

The air felt really thick and it was so warm omg. I'm fine now though
