Conflict: Separatism

Plate Tecs: Volcanic eruptions impacts/management

Weather/Climate: Tropical Revolving Storms impacts/management, Global Climate Change (Evidence or Responses)

World Cities: Suburbanisation, Urbanisation, Counter Urbanisation

OMG! So happy this question came up in January!

Evaluate the possible effects of global warming on one tropical region that you have
studied.

Now I don't have to bother with it

For the A* do u need 180 UMS in total of the A2 units. Coz I got 80/80 for geog4a and teacher said I need like 100 UMS in this exam which is like 63/90. Although i don't meet the boundary for the a* does it still mean I get the a*overall?

yeah you need 90% average

I take it all back. If the weather & Climate essay is on "Responses to Global Warming" (not rubbish evidence) then I'm going to have an absolute field day.

Still hate the poverty topic though

I don't know :L, 69% is pretty high....
That's still only 3/4 marks, rather than 9/10 which is a huge difference to me. And I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED a star.

Geographer here! Prefer physical but the uni I've firmed only do a BA, but it's basically the same course with a different name.

Wooohooo! More geographers!! Where are you going?
And aah right, I used to prefer physical, but A2 totally changed my mind and Im so much for development etc, but yes, to study Physical youve gotta study Human and vice versa, goes hand in hand

or at least the questions and essays for tectonics, ecosystems, world cities and development?

No mark scheme available though.

Oooh Im doing exactly the same topics as you!!
What are you planning on doing for the 40 marker?
Just wanted to say how helpful this forum is being!! I was completely panicking about this exam last week and now i'm feeling pretty good about it. For case studies is everyone learning them in complete detail (like I'm trying to do), or just picking out key impacts/responses? Seems like there's sooooo much to learn for the case studies even though theory is fine.
