Hey guys why does the polythene rod gain electrons yet the acetate rod loses electrons
Reply 61
When the POLYTHENE rod is rubbed with cloth electrons move from the cloth to the rod which means the POLYTHENE rod becomes negatively charged
whereas when the ACETATE rod is rubbed with woollen cloth electrons move from the rod to the cloth which means ACETATE becomes positively charged.

Possibly because of different materials?

Does anyone know whether we need to remember the SUVAT equations?
Thanks

I wanted 10 A*s 5 As (maybe another A* instead of an A) and a C. I wanted an A* in Maths A Level and A in AS History.

But maths might not happen after today, I'm self taught for that too, but a word came up I'd never learnt ...

Geography! I feel you:frown: although the paper was easy the last 6+8 marker was horrible...

What grades do you want?

Logic gates tables... How much do we need to know with filling in tables?

I hate electricity.

I want 7 a*s and the rest a's. Preferred to get more a*s but history paper 2 geography pager 2 psychology paper 2 were messy.
We need to know pretty much everything for filling in tables. All inputs and outputs possibly. :/

which 6 marker was that?

"foot"

People should learn them

"foot" as in 12 inches?

SUVAT-meh...learn them for A-level Physics and Maths, don't want to make it too hard remember some people aren't passionate about physics so wouldn't bother revising them anyway as they don't give a stuff :frown: (which seems pointless to me-should always give a damn about exams whether or not you like the subject)
