There's probably 2/3 people in your class who are ok at French and they'll be the only ones left soon enough. In my class hardly anyone knew what 'depuis' meant and a few weren't even sure on the difference between a noun and an a verb :s-smilie:

Define okay

Oh wow, fair enough depuis... I didn't know how to say:

I'm looking forward to...

Meh, it bothers me when people are starting A2, and still unable to stop translating the English present continuous word by word into French or German!

I'm no longer shocked at those stats! the students account for grades.

As for Geography, I LOVE the second teacher, he teaches human. The other ones a doctor and she does physical but she's so boring...

J'ai besoin de "faire" (des) nouvelles amis... :frown:
Hello!

Do anyone know busuu? here is the link: http://www.busuu.com/de this page offers over 12 languages which can be learned. You can improve your foreign language skills with native speakers for free. There is an opportunity to interact with native speakers in a video chat to improve the spoken English. So I consider to sign me up there. What do you think that?
Look - I've actually started German!! I have a Deutschheft and everything!!ImageUploadedByStudent Room1378498664.637360.jpg

Neither - at my school you can pick up a second foreign language once a week after school in year nine, and I'm just joining in with the German class
It does mean I can't use my Thursday afternoon free to go home though, which is annoying, but hey, DEUTSCH!!!

I see. You are a beginner who start at the roots of the German language, right? if you need help in German, you should know that it is my native language.
Hey all!
I'm looking to become fluent (or as near as possible) in German, anyone know any good books/resources? I've been studying it for a few years now and love it

Because for five years I have walked to school with girls on the German half and so have picked up bits and pieces along the way - now I want to learn properly!

Previously I would've suggested Rosetta Stone but since someone suggested Duolingo, I personally cannot recommend it highly enough, it's by far the best to start out with before moving on to other resources to become fluent.
Mon professeur de français me demande si je pense que mon français est bien :colone:

J'ai dit... "je le pense"

Elle a dit que c'est très bien :awesome: surtout pour moi!
