It can be unless you're able to send a cheque to the college and do it that way
Good luck
Thank you
your story has being quite inspirational
Last minute complication is though which Durham college to pick... I will probably wait until this Sunday to send it off as I'm going to the open day on the 21st, don't want to pick the wrong college

Oh, not very good. I've never sent a cheque and don't know how to do it. (My wallet with cards was stolen, I won't get new cards too soon, but I'll ask Head of 6th Form in my school if they can pay for me and add it to my school bill.)
I love how my sixth form neglected to tell us about the fee....
That's true, ours didn't either!
Also, just randomly remembered that I said I'd tell you about the Edinburgh open day a few weeks ago: in general, it looks really good! It feels like a campus university even though it's in the main city, not sure how often the shuttle bus runs between campuses normally but they worked well on the day (you probably won't be on the King's campus but there's a big hill between there and the main one!). The people were all friendly and certainly the physics facilities looked reasonable, don't know about the other subjects though. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but if you can feel free to ask

Speak to your school about it and see what they say, most people pay it through debit as it's so much easier
