Maths mechanics help!!

Does anyone have any tips on getting an a in maths mechanics as level?
How often should you revise? Half an hour a day??
Any useful websites would be nice.

revision time depends on how good you are at it. Tips would be to always draw diagrams even if already displayed in the question, mark on forces and angles ect. Remember equations and where you can use them.
www.examsolutions.net is pretty good as he goes through questions slowly.

A lot of mechanics questions are pretty straightforward, so you don't need to revise for it quite as much as core... a 2:1 ratio of core-mechanics work should do nicely.

In terms of how to prepare - practice practice practice. Do as many problems from the textbook and as many past papers as possible. Try to imagine any scenarios they describe in your head and see if the answer you get makes sense.

Exam solutions (as mentioned above) is also very good for learning the basics.

For reference, I got an A* in maths with mechanics (C1-4 and M1&2)
