Need help with Q14 A

dy/dx = v[du/dx] - u[dv/dx]
=[(2x-1)^4][3(x+1)^2][1] - [(x+1)^3][4(2x-1)^3][2]
=3[(x+1)^2][(2x-1)^4] - 8[(x+1)^3][(2x-1)^3]

Try factorising as (x+1)^2 is a common factor as well as (2x-1)^3:smile:

Thanks

You should get this

Then you can just expand out the stuff in [......] and simplify:smile:
