Well, I had a quick look on Birmingham's course finder, and found no sign of a journalism course.

Haha yeah I am, would of been pissed if it was conditional! :P well done mate! Ummm not 100% sure yet, it's either Birmingham or Exeter, I haven't quite decided! (Need to get an offer and see exeter :L) . Reckon you will?

Well done to you too! Never realised Exexter did engineering haha, Im guessing it's good though? Yeah Im 90% sure I will. Got offers from Leeds, Notts and Brummy AAA and got an interview with Manchester next week and screw Cambridge Loved Leeds but I think Brummy edges it

Cheers! Yeah they do, they just don't show up in league tables, because there first year is classed as general, and you specialise in the 2nd year, but they are ranked quite highly for general! I visited a friend in Birmingham last week, and the night life is insane! Let me know if/when you firm it! It's quite likely I will ATM, unless Exeter is insane when I visit :P

Oooh really?! Didnt know that, maybe they do chem eng? There are looads of unis that do chem eng yet dont show on league tables Yeah I've been two Birmingham a few times and some of the night clubs I saw! O_o I mean if Im staying somewhere for 5 years, I want it to have epic nights out and be a nice bit city Aha will do, atm if think I will! deffo gonna play footy there and might do kayaking haha. Tell me how Exeter goes! :P

Most likely, if I don't get an offer from Oxford. There's a small chance my opinion will change, but probably not.

I'm assuming you mean on the day? We split into two groups, and had lunch on tables of ~4, and talked to a professor. After a couple of talks, we had a tour around the university, the department, the research facilities and accommodation. It was nice to spend the day taking with other physicists!

Sorry I didn't see your comment earlier! My ucas got sent on the 28th of October, and my course is Mechanical Engineering. They didn't send me an acknowledgment email or anything, got a letter today saying they were giving me an offer! I'm on a gap year tho, and already interviewed last year, so they said I didn't have to interview again this year, so I think I got my offer earlier than other mech engineers! What course are you applying for ?
