I use http://pomodoro.me/ as a timer and I do 25 minutes then take a 5 minute break and then repeat. Then after like 4 cycles of this I take a 10-15 minute break.

At the moment I'm doing an hour and 15 minutes per subject a day (so just under 4 hours as I do 3 subjects). Sometimes I do more, sometimes less.

As exams approach I do the same thing but do like 6-8 hours a day but that's more in April/May time.

I reallyyy recommend the pomodoro technique though because 25 minutes is short enough that you're still engaged and paying attention but long enough to get stuff done.

I have specific targets that I have to get done by the end of the day (even if it means staying up till 12) e.g. for today:
-> getting through further trig chapter for C3
-> going through notes on enthalpy & entopy for F325
-> planning and writing a 12 mark psychology essay
-> writing notes on four topics for F215

I tried sticking to a timetable last year but I'd never get the work done in the time I'd allocated, which wasn't very productive as I'd spend too much time on one subject. I think its best to have specific targets but I guess you just have to find out what's works best for you as I did.

Thank you sooo much Lea. I've been struggling with AS Geography (mostly because I'm lazy ) and have found it difficult to get tasks done without a push. This really is one of the best tools out there and is free of charge, thanks to the creators. I would vote your post but I'm out of votes for today.
Peace.
Omg wow... I'm in year 11 too and I'm aiming for all/mostly A*s yet I've basically done no revision this half term apart from a few mins when I force myself to try and do a bit...

Whenever I feel like my day is going too good, I revise. Does that count as a timetable.
