Bengali is the language, Bangladeshi is the actual ethnic background, but it doesn't really matter whether you say Bengali/Bangladeshi, nobody will correct you for it, unless you're writing a professional essay for example.

And....well, my mum has a lot of fish haha, but the younger generation and I have a lot of chicken. But yeah, fish is one of the major foods in our diet, but so is chicken and other foods.
