I think when you think of bad boy, you're thinking of a deliberately long-term unemployed alcoholic.

To lots of people, bad boy would mean Johnny Depp (though he resents the label, I think he said).

Gentleman. I've been with a bad boy, and getting abused by your own boyfriend who is always high on cocaine or mkat wasn't any fun.
I lean towards a gentleman, but I would like him to be a little unpredictable at times because I'm 'good girl'. The whole thing would end up being boring if that didn't happen. (so the first one)

This reminds me of an encounter with a certain 'SweatyNerd'

His attitude is something, every man should use to learn from.

What a character.
Could some please in bullet-point form list gentleman and bad boy traits.

Gentleman: Educated, close to mother, serious, honest, respectful, secure, dependable
Bad Boy: Idealistic, hedonistic, liar, criminal, aggressive, selfish, poor listener, abusive (physical, verbal, emotional), insecure, undependable

'Treats me like a lady in everyday life, and a slut between the sheets' is probably what many mean :h:

Would you prefer a gentleman who is a bit cheeky?
Would you prefer a bad boy who is unpredictable?
Or does it change with age?

Both of those fall under the 'dickhead' category.

I like my men normal and level headed...

You can be cheeky without being a 'gentlema' though! Gentleman is just another word for try hard romantic. And I hate romance.

What do you prefer to romance?
Gentleman, having an unpredictable partner is bad news or it has been for me in the past.
