Hope you're feeling better? :hugs:

------------

So so busy at the moment! Uni, exams, assignments, work, physio and other random shizz! Had my first shift today, wasn't too bad, although may or may not have hit a customer on the head with the plant she bought :ninja: Another 9 hour shift tomorrow  Decided that busy is definitely good for me mh wise though :yep:

Yeah, not had the best day but I'm alright

Does sound busy  Well done with work, the plant thing sounds like something I'd do  9 hours is long though! Hope it goes okay, glad you're better with busy-ness :hugs:

I hope this doesn't sound sarcastic, it's not meant to, but that should be your motivation to get outdoors! There is no chocolate at home so why don't you go out and get some, go for a walk on the way back home while eating your chocolate, the weather is great, once out in the sunshine you'll feel a hundred times more energised

Well, that was posted about 8pm on a Sunday! I did get chocolate the next day, and have since then found myself eating less of it! I do usually get out and about most days, seems to be more likely to be done since it got warmer, although still don't feel like getting out of bed in the morning.

This is a woman who "reorganised/searched" my room last summer and that was when I hadn't done anything to annoy her. Like Odd Socks says it's not that simple.

Did she find any pornographic material? :holmes:

As a self confessed chocoholic, when im in a depressive episode even the thought of getting chocolate doesnt motivate me to get out of the house.

Not sure if you understand how bad depression can get or not.

Actually I can. Don't be so judgemental. Was diagnosed with clinical depression 3 years ago, just had my last appointment with my psychiatrist in February and still on my antidepressants and that's me finally back on my feet. Don't jump to conclusions, I am more than aware about how difficult it is to get out of the house considering the only time I left my own bedroom was when I had to go to work, I was merely trying to help this person solve their problem of not having chocolate (which is known to boost serotonin levels like antidepressents) and to get outside at the same time. It was a suggestion. Don't dare jump to the conclusion that someone over the internet who you don't know and have never met is ill informed on a subject i.e mental illness.

Does it make a difference if she did? It was a massive invasion of privacy what I did or didn't have in my room isn't the point.
Does anyone else ever take what someone has said and over analyze it and take what they have said to mean something else and drive yourself mad with worrying about it ?

Appointment for ESA medical dropped through letterbox the other day and I did end up having a call back from one of the customer service managers at the assessment centre trying to allay some fears and told me alot of what I have read on the internet is just scaremongering and people who have had a bad experience and want to give ATOS or whoever is doing medicals now a bad name. He was very nice to be fair. Gave me his direct line incase I have any more worries or concerns or even if I want to find out where my claim is up to.

But what I am driving myself mad with and have actually been crying about is when I spoke to GP about medical and maybe a letter to advise I couldn't go (social anxiety) he has said that its not him being unsympathetic but he thinks actually going would be better as it will show the assessor my anxiety more than a home visit where I would be relaxed

I have however to it the wrong way and got myself in an extremely anxious worked up worried state thinking that GP basically just means I'm lazy and should be back at work. Not great feelings to have when I need a.new fit note next week I don't know whether to mention that I have been over analyzing what he said and what I have made out in my head that he meant or whether it will just make me look an idiot

I actually find this reply quite aggressive towards me.

I was not judgemental to you at all. I was merely stating that when im bad the thought of chocolate doesnt even motivate me to go out, and most of the time id do ANYTHING for chocolate!

I also said i dont know if you understand depression or not. Not once did i say you dont understand depression.
So actually you jumped to conclusions so id appreciate it if you wernt rude or aggressive towards me.

Please keep discussion civil, guys.

And for newer posters it might be worth taking a look at the rules on the first post of the thread, particularly those concerning mention of suicide and self harm.

I have my first job interview on Monday and I'm really scared of it.

I have a new suit, treated myself to new undies and fancy socks in an attempt to make myself feel better but at the moment I just feel like a short stumpy lump of a woman. And I'm terrified that wearing flats is an issue.

Good luck! :jumphug:

Wear something you feel comfortable in and confident, even if its just wearing a nice vest top instead of a blouse.
For my interview i wore black skinny jeans, a nice vest top with birds on and a blazer then new white trainer thingys. I still looked smart but felt confident.

Thank yooou. Terrified but kinda looking forward to it. First proper teacher interview and it's quite a number of hours long. Just hoping I can get through it.

Thanks! I've gone for a nice shirt and navy suit with a pair of flat brogues. I think I look okay. I just don't like my little legs atm.

I know what you mean - it feels scary but good when people think you're responsible enough to get through to the interview stage! You're going to make a great teacher, so just be yourself as much as you can, and try not to worry too much about the end result - just focus on making a good, honest impression and learning from the experience.
my head is broken. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Urgh **** sake :sadpanda: :cry2:
