Isn't this true though?

People who go to low unis especially polys don't end up anywhere and barely even achieve anything in their life.

It is better to not go to university than to go to a poly or anything outside of the top5/6 UK:

inc Oxbridge/Imperial/LSE/Warwick

dont be mad. durham is on par with warwick and ucl as one example, yes polys are mostly useless but thats not just top 6. where do you go?

Okay I apologise, I was in the wrong earlier and will refrain from that in future.

Funnily enough not sure, a career that pays well would be great. Maybe consultancy, I was originally thinking about IB, but I would consider myself too introverted and so that may not be the best thing for me.

I take it you are looking at IB xD

i have had numerous ints for ibd but am now focused moreso on consultancy. extra currics are essential. both require extroverts, because you need to be someone who others can work with and so that means showcasing your abilities early on, it can be done otherwise but its hard enough as it is to get in haha.

You don't need to be extraverted to work in a team and/or be sociable. It just means you'll need a bit more time to recoup afterwards.

gl spending 80 hours a week with a group of 10 people and not talking to them. if you dont talk to humans then tech is for you, not front office. i count extroverted as talking to people on a regular basis

not even discussing consulting here as i assume its fairly obvious.

Bruh. Extraversion is talking to people but feeling lonely when no one is talking to you/yearning for more socialising.

Introversion is talking to people but wanting to take a break every once in a while to be by yourself.

There are plenty of introverts in IB and Consulting.

I thought introvert = sitting in your room and studying all day, not talking to anyone and just watching video tutorials till the day repeats.

Kind of like groundhog day, but learning different stuff.

No, that is someone who has social anxiety issues.

Introverts are just social people who highly value their alone time more than their extraverted counterparts.

Actually if you're not at Harvard you're wasting your time. At Harvard, they call Cambridge "Canterbury Polytechnic"

thats what most people would consider an introvert yes. also with regards to being too independent, id advise you to engage in any sort of extra curric which helps you to work in a team environment, even if you hate it at first you may grow to enage in them a lot which will be good

yes, are you driven enough? aim for top 5% of the class in your fringe and bangs end of year exam and that will look strong on your application.
