I think I remember people saying in last years thread that they issue results throughout the whole day, some people were still waiting at 5pm! I could be wrong though.

I'm not sure- a years a long way away. If I could just get an O grade job in HMRC i'd be happy. If not I shall apply again- pretty disappointed at the minute though at falling at the first hurdle. Thank god for Sunday roast dinners to cheer me up ha!

In the rejection email it states it was extremely high -over 21000 applicants and they brought through just over 15% so you can all be proud of yourselfs for making it this far. And good luck for stage two!

I still keep checking my status hopeful someone's dropped out and they'll invite me. Living in hope 🙈

I just sat the exact same sift test as HMRC for the Finance gov scheme, and got a score of 92% in my feedback, yet the exact same answers only resulted in a score of 29% for HMRC. Absolutely baffled.

You're scored against other people who have taken the test. So you scored better than 92% in one and 29% in the other.

Everyone should log in and check their communications section of the application. I'm successful and now on stage 2 but I didn't receive any emails at all, without checking it I wouldn't have known, even though there is an email in my communications section so :k:
