URGENT need help with biology papers

Have my unit 4 mock exam in a few days and i seem to be okay with everything apart from the experimental questions, usually the second to last ones that are out of 15. I get about 2 or 3 marks every time. as an example, question 7 in this paper:

How do i get better at these? Is there any other way than just doing past papers cause that dosen't seem to be helping for these questions.

I dont know what you are currently doing but... Look at the mark schemes, you dont need to know much in the way of facts when these come up, look at the data and think about what you know about experimental design. Specificaly look for key terminology in mark schemes ie exam rubric.

I get past paper questions and brain storm around them, (print small and glue on A3) then check mark scheme and make sure i havent missed any info or exam rubric. Then once its correct i rewrite the mind map without the question-sounds complicated but its not.
