A level advice needed urgently please 🙏 🙏🙏 ( former A level students !!!)

Hi ! I’m really stuck on revision and so was just wondering if anyone could help . I do biology and chemistry which start on the 7th of June so I have about a month till exams. I’m really weak on quite a few modules however I’m not going to have time to go over them all before my exams . I don’t know whether it would be better to just focus on the paper 1 modules and do the paper 2 in between the exams or whether I wouldn’t have enough time/ it would be too stressful . Please let me know what you guys would do I’m aiming for A’s but I’m so stressed aaaaa xxx

Hi! I dont do chem but i do Bio.

I would suggest answering a couple paper 1's for each subject and highlighting the concepts you dont understand/exam commands you seem to not grab the idea of just so you know what to prioritise.
Online you can find AO1 quizzes on like Quizlet etc, so you can master your ao1 and understand. If you still dont get it/remember it, you can always contact your teacher and watch videos on youtube. I really like Miss Estruchs stuff. I suggest Learning backwards - start revision with topics you struggle with and then focus on stronger easy topics eg. biological molecules just so you can allocate your time wisely - use a calendar/planner (it helps!). In between you can do a couple paper 2 topics just so it doesnt seem as overwhelming when paper 1 is finished and you have so much paper 2 stuff to do. Good luck!! And DONT STRESS. Taking 10 minute walks after a long revision sesh can really reset your mind and help you focus - the last thing you want to do is get burnt out.

Hi @emmajonesss,

I previously did my A-levels during covid so my experience is different and I didn't do these options however firstly try and not stress you have plenty of time. My first piece of advice would be to make a revision timetable this is a great way to structure your time and see when you are free to do work, I would also advise on this timetable to include breaks and points for socialising as you don't want to just be working continuously as this could lead you to burning out. This will also help to show what bits of work is achievable for you to do. I would maybe focus on your paper one modules just as this is first as you may have time to focus on paper two later on as you say between the exams. However I would say for this just choose what you feel most comfortable doing whether that's focusing on just one or both.

My second piece of advice would be to use past papers I found this super useful as its a way of familiarising yourself with how questions are both worded and structured. This will also help to highlight the points that you don't know and maybe struggling with in which this allows you to focus on revising this.

Hope this helps! Good luck in your exams, you'll do great!
