For real?! Wow, that's incredible. Sounds like my worst nightmare. Is it some sort of defensive mechanism against predators? Does it at least taste good?

No it tastes as bad as it smells. But the natives love it... I absolutely hate it.

Whenever I'm visiting family in Malaysia, they have to eat that **** outside because the smell makes me feel sick.
