You're right, "around" the 11th April. So for anyone concerned whether or not they have heard back from HMRC yet, you'll likely wait until next week.

They've said if you don't hear back by then they'll give you the contact details and tbf when they've said a date they've usually issued them a few days before or start to issue results anyway

If they had specifically said 'Results will be issued ON the 11th April' then no one here would expect earlier, however it has always been worded as 'by' or 'around' signifying that the 11th April is the latest we will hear but with the potential to be earlier, especially as in previous years they have released results in batches over a few days. Also the fact that they post facebook updates saying 'Results coming soon' makes everyone a bit on edge, basically HMRC are just a big tease!!

Pretty sure the 11th would be the very very last day people would receive results. I'd imagine a fair share will get their results before the weekend, think it'll be Wednesday/Thursday/Friday.

But not too bothered now haha, only a couple more days...more anxious than impatient now.

Feeling pessimistic for today, but hopeful for tomorrow.
I think they'll want them out by the end of the week, else they risk a deluge of hundreds of emails on Monday eve if they dont manage to get them out in time.

Noooo be optimistic...send out good positive thoughts! I just want put out my misery one way or the other....it'll be prosecco to celebrate or to commiserate and the quality will be determined by the result so really they should let us know so I can get shopping

I don't understand what's going to happen with the cs portal tbh as on Facebook it says the provisional offers will be sent end of April when the locations have been decided, so do we just get an email at the moment telling us were successful or not and I wonder if the portal will update from "scheduled for assessment". The interns were told location at the same time so that obviously wasn't an issue

My understanding is we will hear locations in the next few days... however as it is all subject to change. some people may decline placements as the location doesnt suit and this could be offered to the next person who had it higher on they priority list. The official offers will be made in late April

We were told at the AC that the email we were supposed to get last week would tell us
1. Whether we were successful, and
2. (If successful) where we would be placed.

I don't know how they can do anything other than this, because how can they tell us we've been successful without placing us? I'm sure they would need to know where we are going to be placed before they can tell us anything?

It will suck if we get told we're successful but then have to wait even longer to find out where, but I really don't get how they can do that? :frown:

Looks like it... think im actually losing it now. For the first few weeks after the AC i was convinced I hadnt been successful... but the longer this drags on the more hopeful I am getting. Need to be put out of my misery

I know what you mean....I've forgotten how bad I felt after and how much I wanted to just leave on the first night. On the positive side at least we've still got hope at this point!

I'm feeling the same as you both. The wait is soul destroying. I convinced myself I had no chance and have felt a little hopeful at times. It's impossible to plan anything whilst been left in the dark.

Ha ha I was tempted to run through the wall in a bid to escape the 1st activity on the 1st night and almost accepted defeat.
