Edexcel D1 - 17th June, 2016 [Exam discussion]

How did you manage to schedule it using 3 workers? I had to use 4

when it asked for the route and its length i didn't give a route because like you said it kept blocking but I said the length was something + 35 and that's it, 1 mark/2?

they lengthened the project time to 36 days so one could schedule with 3

I got 75, 85 and 126? (I THINK)

Yeah 1 mark I did that knowing that in mark schemes it's B1 for each.

Lol.

Year 12, C1 73/75, C2 75/75, S1 70/75, FP1 66/75, D1 63/75, S2 not yet sat. It's not that great.. I didn't like the D1 paper today at all.

I got 11 and 4; lots of people seem to agree on that. We'll have to wait for someone to post the paper.

Haha how grim was that paper though... honestly contemplated walking out when I saw the two cascade chart spaces lmao

thank you mate they're still very impressive scores - I am contemplating retaking FP1 next year, they seem to have given us disgusting FP and D1 papers this year! what's your final exam for further maths this year

For the linear programming I forgot to plot the first point urghhhh
Therefore my x and y value from simultaneous equations was wrong
I got the objective function
I then used these values to put them in the objective function
Overall how many marks am I likely to get

Because 25(11)+65(4) is 535. Am I forgetting something?

Yep that's what I got. It looked weird at the exam thou ( usually their is a diff of only 1 or 2) didn't had time to double check
