The problem MPs have, is that they need to keep their constituency members on side - otherwise they could be deselected if their constituency members support JC.

Also many Trade Union leaders are supporting JC too. In a re run of the leadership election Jeremy is likely to win again, leaving some of the MPs with no party and / or no career.

It looks like many Labour people are supporting Jeremy Corbyn. Over 190,000 have signed the petition for him to stay.

I was a corbynite until fairly recently if I'm honest. Now, after all this, I just don't think he's the one to lead the party, he lacks charisma and is not going to win an election. Still, I like what he stands for- environment and being against the war in Syria. I just don't think he's the one to lead, I don't think he was ever a "leader". I hope Andy Burnham goes for leadership again, though I think he's more interested in being Mayor in Manchester ( or something ). :s-smilie:

Then she is quite obviously deluded! Especially as insiders of the ZANU-pf regime even leaked evidence for his genocide. Yet Tony benn in the 80's and even into the 00's when his crimes were clear he still called Mugabe a "freedom fighter" of our time despite the man being no better than ISIS in his methods of control.

He basically said 'let's do something' completely ignoring the very real possibility that this very something could make a **** situation for Syrians ten times worse.
