U.K. Dentist in Canada

Can UK dentists practice in Canada, what actions would need to be taken for a UK qualified dentist to work in Canada ?

Check out the link above. For the most part, it will be difficult to move to Canada as a dentist.

There is the possibility of being attached to a teaching hospital as a professor (possibly waive the licensing/registration aspect), but you'll have to be senior enough to do so.
I always thought that you could just write a number of dental licensing exams and work in Canada as a dentist? A lot of Canadians go abroad for dentistry because they can just write exams and return to Canada, but i'm not sure if citizenship would play a role there.

It only works for people going to AUS/NA/USA.

I haven't heard of anyone being able to go to the UK and return to Canada directly afterwards. Being a citizen is also a factor in allowing people to come back.

What if you are a Canadian citizen and decide to go to UK to study Dentistry. Would it be difficult to come back and practice in Canada as a registered Dentist?

It seems like they only look at a few practising boards to consider which universities are accredited schools if you studied in the following countries: Australia, New Zealand, US, and Ireland. https://www.cda-adc.ca/cdacweb/en/international_professionals/

It would be classified as non-accredited if you study in the UK. Note that the application process is much longer and you might need to take additional programmes to qualify. Here's the link: https://ndeb-bned.ca/en/non-accredited/application
