I prefer subjects in the areas of science, philosophy and maths as opposed to linguistics. Thus, I find lessons quite boring. In short: I don't like French as a subject.

I struggle with French, for a reason that I don't really know. This could possibly be a lack of interest in the subject.

The way French is examined (reading and listening) is quite stressful. The thought that pretty much anything can appear on the paper, as opposed to Maths/Science/etc., is a valid and worrying thought. I get why the exam boards do it, adapting to unfamiliar vocabulary (or, basically, educated guesses based off context), but it can be pretty stressful.

The coursework for the old spec (the spec I'm doing), was mostly memory based (writing and speaking), and my memory, when it comes to French, isn't the best
