Most effective revision technique?

Whats the most effective revision technique for you? Flash cards? Drawing? Highlighting?

Mine depends on the subject tbh (mindmaps are amazing in History and parts of RS, notes with highlighted bits for RS and Physics, then straight past papers for Maths and Further Maths)
Past papers, mark schemes and examiners reports

Taking notes for me is just too time consuming, i dont even remember anything from it so i just do past paper questions and questions from the book, then look back at any class notes or from the book if i cant answer a question. But i guess that does not work for all subjects.
Very concise revision notes from the textbooks / reading material, i.e. summarising the entire topic into 2 pages of A4 etc
Pretend your the teacher and say the stuff like you're teaching it?
Works for me
