The cards aren't off the table yet, you still do have opportunities for studying engineering.
If anything, then you're in a better position by doing maths as opposed to taking physics and not maths.
You'll need to check the entry requirements. Some universities, while cautious, will still consider you if you don't take physics, some unis would like you to have done M1 & M2, some unis offer a foundation year if you didn't take the correct subjects, or other unis (like Sheffield, I think) offer a 4 week intense physics course for those who didn't take it at A-level just before the start date of your course so that you can have a better level of understanding and you aren't disadvantaged.
Despite not taking physics, you'll be fairly surprised at how many options are available to study engineering.
