A level options

I am in year 12.
I Am unsure if I can manage the stress of doing 4 full a levels and an EPQ.
So I was wondering whether I could get into med school doing 3 a levels in chemistry, biology and economics and an AS in Maths and an EPQ?
Would I be put at a disadvantage?

Nope, you won't be at a disadvantage. 3 A2 and 1 AS is around about what the majority of candidates have!

This all depends on the subject and the student. Bear in mind, you've already said that you're not sure you could manage the stress so why would you want to put yourself through additional work/stress for something that isn't particularly going to help you get into med school any more than your 3 A2's...

Also, you don't want to stretch yourself too thin. The most important thing is getting AAA. If a 4th A2 will cause the risk of you dropping grades, don't do it.
