Homeschooling for A level??!!

Hey guys, help me out. My parents randomly come to me and suggest getting me homeschooled for my a levels. But I really really don't wanna do it. I hope they don't get too serious about it. I just wanna continue at Graveney sixth form.
Can u guys list me pros and cons and do u think I should even though I've been going to normal schools for the past 10 yrs?

Also let me give u guys some background info on me.
I don't really have a social life and live under a rock already. Going to school and meeting my friends is the only socialising I ever do otherwise I just go in whenever I have lessons. I just feel like I need to be tough but my parents don't really understand me

Personally I don't think that home schooling is that good because socialising and going to school is very important in order to develop socialising skills with lots of people for when you start working and have a job. Also I know many people who are home schooled get good grades, however it is possible to get A*'s while attending college as there are many people who did. Also being home schooled can be stressful as you have to apply for examinations instead of your school doing it for you and you have to pay for textbooks instead of your school providing them for you. Also if you want to take the final exam you have to go to an exam centre and won't be able to take the exam in the comfort of your own school. Also you may need to get tutors to mark your practice essays and you may have to pay for it. Plus, getting references for your personal statement for university can be very difficult if you don't have a teacher. I was actually thinking about being home schooled too for the past few days, but when I researched about it I changed my mind and decided it is best to stay in my lovely sixth form 😊

Aww 😄 And thx sooo much I think that acc gave a better insight. Because I was thinking about payments and all and it's just gonna be more difficult for me as a person. I feel like I still have so much to learn and I can't do that all by just sitting at home. Thanks again. That was very helpful
