Central Saint Martins - Foundation Diploma 2017/2018

I've decided not to go to CSM even if I get in as I've accepted my offer to Parsons in New York! I think i might apply for postgrad at CSM though still want to go to this amazing school!

oh i think people from uk have more chances to get in.. there are not so many eu students at CSM

When i talked with some of my friends there... they told me there are about 60-70 students from eu and around 120 or more from uk

from Italy there is no one this year ((


i'm so worried and scared cuz i don't if what i've done is enough ((

When I went to the open day in December and review back in February they said they're accepting roughly half and half - around 255 applicants from UK and 250 from EU/Abroad!... do you not have a back up option?:/

i went also to open day..

an half is composed by international students
and another uk/eu
but my friend told me there less eu than uk..

and no one from my country last year :////

idk... all people i know from csm said me i have to stay relaxed and quite cuz my portfolio is enough and strong but i can't stay that

Ahh I see, I guess we'll only really know if we get in... so much uncertainty about everything haha!! That's fair enough, fingers crossed they're right and good luck too)) Where will you go if not? I've got a place at Leeds College of Art... struggling to decide between LCA or CSM!?

which pathway have you applied for ?

i'm stalking this thread for next year's entry, but i gotta ask: is foundation acceptance based solely on an online 30-page portfolio, or is there that and then a full portfolio review? if it's the latter, is the review that insanely harsh one where you just drop your folder off and then come back for it later, or is it a proper interview?

i'm getting things confused because i'm reading sources from all over the past few years so i'm not sure what their system's currently like. good luck to all who have applied!
