Film degree at Ravensbourne or LCC??? Dilemma!!

Just wondering which Uni is best for studying FILM and why?
Would appreciate anyones feedback/personal experience as to why you would recommend Ravensbourne for Digital Film Production ......OR..... LCC for Film Practice. They both look like really good Undergraduate Degrees..... offers for both right now. need to choose.

We've been thinking about this so much.....both have a really good reputation. In the end we decided it was where you would feel most comfortable and which place produced film work that you liked best. Also, something to think about, LCC take 45 students and Ravensbourne take about 150. This may have a bearing on the teaching and tutoring they offer. Also, LCC are connected to 6 London Unis. part of a bigger student body if you want to think about social life too. Go with your gut feeling. They're both really good. Well done for getting offers from both.

Hey there guys,

Firstly, congrats on your offers! Thought I'll add a few other points to Ravensbourne that you might like to know.

My friends that studies Digital Film are having a blast at the course, they're really enjoying themselves. They have mention that they have had quite a few opportunities within the industry and without the connections within Ravensbourne, it wouldn't be possible. Throughout the year we have collaborated with companies like Barclays, Lend Lease, DMIC, Samsung etc.
Social life at Ravensbourne is one of the best thing for me personally. You can socialise with people within other course on level 4 of our building and even share some classes together.During your 3rd year, you can collaborate with other outside of your chosen course subject. (My friend did a collaboration with someone within Product Design.)

We have an event called 'Rave Late' where guest lectures come to Ravensbourne and introduce us to what they do and teach us about the industry and what to expect.

I hope this help a bit. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
We're here to help

Kay :h:
