I like my subjects and the teachers explain it really well and if i dont understand i can ask for help and go for extra support classes.

I have long frees on mondays and tuesdays. On wednesdays i start at 11. On thursdays and fridays i finish early.

On weekends i revise 3to 4 hours
On weekdays i revise 2 to 3 hours per day
I am always tired.

I like the holidays.

I like the fact that it is non uniform college and i also like the girls. :sexface:

I didn't enjoy it for some reasons. If those reasons hadn't been there, then I would have enjoyed it I think, because my school was lovely.

Some of them are great especially my economics teacher because we get cake Fridays and Thursdays, on Mondays I can leave school at lunch and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays I can leave after 2:20 but it's not like I get home until 3 anyway :frown:

Love school holidays, I do some of my homework in my frees or after school and I use my weekends to cram for tests I haven't revised for and left over homework I have to do

All in all school's alright, could be worse I suppose :smile:

I adored primary school, best time of my life. :love:

Secondary school was okay - I went to school abroad for a while and it was hard but overall an alright experience. I didn't like the bitchiness though, and often felt very alone.

Sixth form was alright but I skipped a lot of it due to depression. Generally didn't like the people and I only liked one of my teachers.

I hate high school other than that I pretty much like my school days. I actually hate the girls who are my classmate. They tend to gossip a lot and I am not a big fan of gossiping. One thing which I love about school is the holidays. Studying in an Indian school, I've had almost 4 months of holidays totally ( mostly school was closed for religious affairs or religious occasions but often due to strike). Without the school students, I probably love everything about my school and I will surely miss it once I pass out.

When I look back at secondary school, it seems to be full of sunny days & football in the park. In reality, if I think back, it was full of anxiety...

Still, being around your friends all day everyday, the feeling you used to get about girls & crushes, etc, the long holidays.... Much better than life now.

Generally enjoyed school, the only thing I didn't like was the old building that at times felt a bit spooky.

It was one of the "public schools" I went as a full board.

I enjoyed most of the science and mathematics subjects but not so much on other subjects and generally hated history and literature classes as I mostly viewed it as pointless garbage to learn.

Teachers, some of them were good, some were plain nasty especially when they had a cane in their hand.

Holidays, I usually dreaded it as it meant being on my own as my parents never saw it a priority to bring me back for the holidays and instead told me to find something useful to do in UK. Spent most of them with my closer friends at their homes. I enjoyed the times at some of their homes.

Weekends, we normally visited our friends who lived nearby who went home for the weekend. It was nice to be away from school but I usually looked forward to being back at school.

Weekday evenings, we had a fairly strict schedule as to what we could do and it was mostly revising and lessons. However we did get our chance to play all the sports we cared to play and if we wanted to do any hobbies or interest we were free to do so. Sadly however many of the toys I wanted to have as a child was mostly off-limits.

It was a great time and in view of the alternatives and circumstances I was happy to have that opportunity to be in that school. Looking back, I guess it was a time of the least worries.

Hahahaha these days my son gets to play all the toys I wanted to play as a child but never had the chance to play.

1. I really liked my School. The teachers were mostly good, some couldn't teach well but I can safely say I got on with most of them. Enjoyed my subject choices for GCSE, didn't like being forced to do Dance or Music in Year 7-9, although I did enjoy Drama. Gutted that my Sixth Form didn't offer history or any subjects I was truly interested in, should have gone to college or another Sixth Form instead.

2. Lived for the half term and summer breaks. Weekends were fun, from Year 10 onwards there was usually a party every other week. Weekday evenings, were okay just spent my time playing games to be honest.

3. I had my first school dinner in Sixth Form, and realised that it was ridiculously cheap and actually really nice.

No. I found my school to be full of power-tripping egotistical fools attempting to justify their profession with a frequently lacking knowledge of the subject they were trying to 'teach'.
The school itself was a shambles. The head teacher left when I was in year 8 and a new one not appointed until year 12. The new head was awful. Drove away most of the senior staff, school crashed in offsted reports and she has since been fired.

Whats not to love about a 6-hour day and excessive holidays?

Its only after leaving School/University that you realise how great the social side was. Its now impossible to keep up with that large a friendship group and see everyone with any regularity.

Yeah some teachers were good and some not so good like me English teacher was a bitch she wanted to put me in for foundation for GCSE :eek:

, I complained and did higher and got a B. My Re teacher was awsome always supportive and some to talk to if you needed it.

Holidays were good especially xmas. Summer wasnt too bad but they got kind of long and during the school days I didnt work.

It was very tough growing up in school as my school was the worst in the city and had a bad reputation, I suppose you can say because of the bad rep we had more of a laugh doing things. But I overcame that and it made me stonger. I really miss messing around and getting into trouble. It was a good laugh but as everything it has to come to an end.

Teachers some I liked.. some were weird, young and awkward.
I liked my subjects. Teachers made extra effort to make the lessons fun.

Holidays were alright I guess. Weekends consisted of me doing homework, revising and lazing about.

Weekday evenings were the worst. I had no time to go out or have a part time job because I had so much work to do. Some annoying teachers would set a quick homework for the next day.. but it wouldn't be quick and it would ruin my plans!

I had no school on Fridays in sixth form, and I finished at 1 on Wednesdays.. started at 1 on tuesdays.. Kind of lucky in that sense because some of my friends from other sixth forms weren't even allowed out of school until 15:30!!

I enjoyed school.

I got on with the majority of my teachers, although some of them probably hated me deep down. I don't blame them, I was a Hell raiser. :colone:

I have some of my old school teachers on Facebook, it's nice to keep in touch with them.

Some of the most distressing experiences I'm likely to ever endure happened during my school days, but I wouldn't change any of it.

In perspective, my 'school years' went far too quickly.

Just have to write this and people think I'm joking, I'm not since I have left school my head teacher and an old class mate dropped into me without saying much of a hello. So then I realised they've been sending me hints because I'm massive. My head teacher used to wind me up everyone thought I was hilarious and my old class mate who sat beside and his best friend who works at my mace have been floating about the streets mostly. They've been trying to get me into trouble because they assumed because I'm bigger than the majority of the Irish rugby team that I myself want to play rugby for Ireland. Which isn't the case then I hear that nothing's heir problem and they can do what they want so no I didn't enjoy it at the end because I was also faster than the guy haha surprising because I'm 4 stone heavier and then it turns out half the people didn't take the jobs they were supposed to. Now I'm sensible and regret taking on sciences there because I thought you were supposed to specialise so they didn't do this and now I think their interests and strategies for life have messed up. They own quite a lot of businesses or money or positions and I don't really care because I wanted to go to their because it was just the thing to do if you got an A. So no I don't like it because of that but it was enjoyable. And yes I am probably faster, stronger and outweigh most of the Ireland rugby team.

It was a fun time, I had some fun in most my classes. And fitness bored in others. And messed about in some (Welsh up to year 8 tho and French and RE in year 7, Music and food tech in year 9). I liked maths and science(only cuz of the fun practicals). I also like food tech And geography.
I hated my drama teacher for year 7 and 8. Never did drama after that I liked the subject tho. My maths teachers were usually nice. My year 11 English teacher was really nice. Year 10 was good but not my type of teacher (she was strict). My year 8 IT teacher was the worst teacher I ever had (he was my tutor too for that year :frown:

)
The holiday were good expect for the times when I got lots of homework.

So basically my first drama lesson was the most unpleasant time of my life I farted really loud and got told to get out of the classroom. The teacher said that I should said if i need to go to the toilet.

Year 9 music lessons fun because we just messed about in the music booths. The teacher couldn't see us in them.

when my teacher was off in year 7 we had a supply who we basically bullied. Really mean thinking back about it. The whole class was getting told off about to the head of year. And the form tutor was told. She didn't believe it because we had some really nice people in the class. It was really funny since we had her on Fridays which is also the year the Friday song came out so we sang it every Friday to piss her off. :u:

Although I spent about 90% complaining about how much I hated high school whilst I was there, I did enjoy it and I really do miss some aspects of it (my friends, doing more subjects, not having to spend every break and lunch doing work etc.). However, I did hate having to spend year 7-9 forced to do subjects I absolutely despised (art, PE, tech :colonhash:

)

I had some amazing teachers that made sure we achieved our best and made me enjoy subjects that I wasn't particularly a fan of in the past, but I also had some where you could just tell that they couldn't have cared less and would never mark work or plan proper lessons (but then again I went to a failing school so what can you expect?)

What I miss the most though is having those weekends and half terms where you never had to worry about doing work and could just do absolutely nothing and not feel guilty about it.
