Are my GCSE good enough for dentistry?

Im in year 12 , doing Maths, Chemistry, biology and geography.
I want to apply for dentistry next year . My GCSE results are
Eng language 7(A)
Maths (A)
Biology (A)
Chemistry (A)
Physics (A)
Rs(A)
Geography (A)
English Lit 6(B)
French. (C)
My sixth form is discouraging me because I don't have any A * . I really need advice so I can concentrate on getting work experience and volunteering or think of another career if my chances are low.
I will carry on with only three A levels next year Maths ,Biology and chemistry
Please any advice

should be fine tbh, most Unis arent very GCSE heavy tbh. Nail your UKCAT and make sure you get AAA predicted (or more) at a2 and you shouldnt have an issue. Unis like barts for example are very ukcat heavy and only set minimum gcse requirements (like AABBBC). Most dental schools will rank you on your ukcat not your gcse grades but they each have their own selection criteria.
which ones rank on gcse then? for strong gcse applicants?
