computer science at loughborough

Would you recommend it?
Are lecturers good? Do you feel you are one step ahead with the teaching etc? Is it worse than warwick /birmingham/ucl??

Haven't been to any of those universities but have worked/studied/went to academic conferences at Warwick and Birmingham.

"Better or worse" depends really on what your goals are? Want to specialises in AI/ML/Data Science? Warwick is the better choice. Want to do HCI? UCL wins. Want to do Cyber Security? Birmingham has the edge.

Do you want to do a PhD after undergrad? Or at least keep that option open? Or do you want to work after university? Work as what?

A user called NecroKaimos had submitted a few responses about their time at Warwick, so check out their posts. It seemed (and this is not uncommon experience at RG unis for CS) you will be expected to do a lot of study and learning independently. The good news is you will likely be in a class full of really smart people who can help you through. Whether or not you're up for that depends on you.

Thanks for your reply,
Yes it seems an interesting field which is why I am interested in studying it at uni. Ok I will check that out.
But I want to know what it is like studying at loughborough but also what the life is like. ..it'sa top uni, not the rop for CS but I just want to know. Also I visited campus and it felt very very big so can anyone whos there as a CS student provide any reassurance of the subject and student life?

You should consider posting some of those questions on the Loughbourgh Uni forum on here if you haven't already. I've found it's very hard to get responses on the CS & IT forum for specific university queries.
