Hi, I am wanting to apply for a PGCE after my third year, anyone have any good tips of what they particularly look for in personal statements or interviews ?

The main thing you will want to talk is about your passion for children, education and your subject!
They also want to see that you know the realities of teaching - and aren't deluded, expecting to magically influence the next generation without a single rude comment being made to you by a child ever. So, get some time in schools and prove you know what it's like - then, the rest is about showing passion.
