Must resist making any Debussy references

High Plains Snoozer

Ad Break at Hanging Rock

Some soft-focus schoolgirls try to listen to Debussy but it keeps getting interrupted by commercials for stairlifts, Puzzled, they retune to Canberra FM which also broadcasts on the long wave on wireless sets of a certain vintage.
Obviously, anything with Lee Van Clef in it would score well.

A Breve Moment in Time is the story of a young man who, one regrettable night, made a foolish decision to use a breve instead of a semibreve, and his life changed forever. Now after nearly eighteen years of learning to read music he is a different man.

The Tympany of Wolves is a gothic horror fantasy involving a great deal of blood and gore in the back row of the orchestra.

Baton with the Wind tells the story of an orchestral conductor who insisted on his orchestra playing classic pieces at too fast a tempo for his instrumentalists' sensibilities, with dire consequences (especially in the percussion section).

Bach to the Future tells the story of a time-travelling composer who visits orchestras in the future and coaches them on playing his worls better.

(if the soundtrack to the film adaptation of Brave New World was Dvorak's 9th)

It is the famous composer Niccolò Piccinni; he has his bass viol with him and shows the girls his expert fingering

I imagine the vibrato was especially exquisite, and that a lot of plucking was called for.
