Nah, my great grand mother is from Panasonic. So I'm mainly composed of stir fry.
If you wasn’t born here how would you describe the differences between eastern and western culture?

Eastern: place greater importance on family, conformity and being humble is respected, the culture is much more diverse. Greater wealth gap difference, capitalistic.

Western: individualism, having pride in one self is looked upon and respected, though many of the richer western countries claim to be capitalistic in nature but is much MUCH more socialist compared to the greater east Asia. Though the culture is not as diverse in comparison, it is no less interesting though.

Tbf, I found it pretty easy as I learned english along with other languages pretty early on in my childhood as my mum was multilingual, my fascination with British humour and comedy also really helped. When I was living in shanghai and attended an international school, I met a scottish kid and he became an important friend of mine.

So what age did you move to the UK?

I also learned english when I was younger too growing up in Australia , it really does help to have more exposure to have western culture growing up so its easier and more comfortable if you eventually move into those areas

I personally really enjoy chinese dumpling and baozi, japanese okonomiyaki and oden during the winter months.
