What does cash-in mean?

on my AS level results ‘cash-in’ is written next to each of my subjects except for one (law) and i was just wondering what it meant?

i’m with aqa, ocr and wjec and no they aren’t international !

Right so on WJEC, cash in is what allowed you to get a grade this year. You had to be entered in for a full qualification and a cash in or the grade wouldn't be generated.
On other exam boards cash-in doesn't really have a proper meaning any more, since cash in is for modular exams where you want a final grade to be generated from your modules that you've taken. But essentially all of your grades will have had a cash in this year, so you don't need to worry about it :smile:
