Just had my second college interview at LMH - was so intense because they told me it'd be on written work and then asked me all about A Level curriculum from Y12 that they all actually had specialisms in... Managed to stay afloat but it was brutal!! But my process is finally over yay!

They did the opposite with me! I was grilled on written work unexpectedly haha but yeah the tutors were nice but it was tough!

I completely blanked and gave a really stupid answer which resulted in two of them laughing at me  but I managed to rescue it I think... I was panicking at the start because I hadn't touched those topics in agesss but some knowledge came flooding back so I managed to back up my points but I definitely left with a headache. At least we can (try to) forget about it now!!

Same here! And I had a slightly confusing unseen source which they only gave me 5 mins to read before! I also had like 6 interviewers although only 2 asked questions! Genuinely a very odd but interesting interview! Hopefully it will have gone well for both of us!

Oh wow that sounds very high pressure, I felt a bit intimidated with just 3 of them on the call and I didn't get a source! And same

Yeh I had my second college interview today and it was way more intense than my first one. We had 5 minutes of fairly simple written work questions and then a really heated argument for the next 15 minutes about what constitutes history. It was pretty terrifying having the academic disagreeing with me but I hope I managed a decent enough argument.

They'll want to see you standing your ground so well done! Sounds like an exciting interview  what college was it for?

I was accepted to Keble!! I did my 2nd interview at St Hugh’s but I’m glad that I got Keble. Honestly still in disbelief about it all!
Same! Also headed to Durham but I’m honestly happy to be as I loved the Uni - obvs a bit upset over Oxford but having had my sister go there I know it’s not all it’s cracked up to be and I’ll defo be happy wherever! Congrats to all offer holders though!!

I was rejected unfortunately but I requested my HAT score and I got 69/90 so I was at least happy with that because I did a lot better then I thought.
What about you?

How do you request your HAT score?

How do you request your HAT score?

I just emailed the History Department with my UCAS number and asked them for it.
Sorry this probably sounds so stupid but can someone please explain how the HAT scores work? If the papers out of 40 how does your score end up higher than that? Or is it just a percentage?
