Hey guys, I'm a first year nursing student at Uni of Birmingham (MNurs Adult & Mental Health) and I just wanted to wish you all a massive good luck with your applications, you got this! It is really worth it, I remember when I was in year 12 stressing over it and thinking if I'll manage to get in. Remember to do deeper research into the role of a nurse than just the 6 C's that are usually the first port of call, look at diversity in healthcare, dealing with issues as a nurse etc.
And just a tip for the first year when you guys start in 2022, Anatomy and Physiology will be the hardest thing in the beginning, if any of you are doing A-Level Biology, it is sort of like what you did for it but it is level 3 and first year nursing degree is level 4, you'll start looking at the different diseases and problems that could arise in the bodily systems. It is going to be a lot but just work through it slowly.
Good Luck guys!
